The Timeless has a pH of 2.9-3, which isnt as harsh as other Vitamin C serums that are lower (2.5ish,) but its still an acidic pH, and the Vitamin C itself is sensitizing, so just go slow. It’s because there are mainstream products out there with virtually zero active in them. Use it, love it, but, just like any LAA product, it can be very harsh. When they say 3 x the amount it’s not because they are putting in a potentially harmful amount. When you eat fruit or drink fresh OJ you get way more vitamin C on your lips or around your mouth, and you don’t have your face fall off from the shock of it all. If you have an expensive brand to promote they will promote yours in the same way.Ģ Yes, the advertising is awful! But in reality the ph of the product is really good for not being an irritant.
